Welcome Catherine to the Team!
Really exciting news today – I’d like to officially welcome Catherine Vandier to the team as our new Community & Communications Assistant!
Catherine’s name may ring a bell, as for the last year she has been PR intern at Square Enix France. You might remember her from even before that, however, when she was the primary webmaster of French Tomb Raider Fansite Captain Alban. Like most of us, Catherine is a longtime TR fan and Lara Croft expert, and I can’t have asked for anyone better to help out leading to launch. She was also a practicing archeologist for a few years. No joke.
So what does Catherine’s addition mean to you? I (Meagan Marie) will continue to run the Tomb Raider blog. Unfortunately you’ll have to continue enduring my bad puns and abuse of memes. Catherine will run our suite of Google + profiles, as well as the Lara Croft Facebook page.
Speaking of which – Catherine has been hard at work for weeks uploading classic and current Croft assets to the LC Facebook page for your viewing pleasure. She’s also started a new reoccurring feature – Passport to Adventure. The ongoing report will highlight fellow female adventurers, trailblazers and explorers, both real and fictional. If you don’t follow our Lara Croft Facebook page, now’s the time to do so!
As for the rest of our social channels, we’ll be splitting our attention between them depending on the time of day. Lucky for me Catherine lives in France, so I’ll be able to sleep at some point. Hopefully. If you’re chatting with one of us directly, we’ll make sure to sign as “MM” or “CV” so there is no confusion.
All of this means your connection to the team is even stronger than ever before, as chances are one of us will be around to answer questions, concerns, or generally share in your enthusiasm about the game.
Please help me welcome Catherine! You can keep up with her outside of social channels via Twitter.

Comedy photographer Seth Olenick is looking to fund his book through Kickstarter… and I can’t think of a better Kickstarter campaign to which comedy lovers should lend their support than Funny Business. The coffee table book crammed with vibrant photos of your favorite comedians shot over the past six years. As of this writing, there’s 18 days (and a few hours) left for Olenick to collect the $30,000 he’s looking for to produce 1,500 copies of the book. He’s off to a good start with more than half of the goal realized, but there’s a way to go.

These bones remind me that I really want a puppy. Also they are super cute. I used OPI “Don’t Pretzel My Buttons” as base and mixed acrylic paints for the bones. #fckyeahnailart #nailartoohlala #nailartclub #thenailartstory

Been done a zillion times before, but here are some Cosmic nails I was asked to create.. To mix it up a bit I drew some tiny tiny illustrations and découpaged them onto the galaxy! I hope you like..

Dress-inspired Valentine’s day nails. Just call me Monet (and don’t mind my bad cuticles).
